The Institute for Research in the Humanities and the University of Wisconsin-Madison are very proud to have been selected as a host institution for a new postdoctoral fellowship program supporting early career scholars in the humanities and the humanistic social sciences. The “Emerging Voices Fellowship” has been created by the American Council of Learned Societies (ACLS) to assist a new vanguard of scholars whose diverse voices, perspectives and broad visions will strengthen institutions of higher education and humanistic disciplines in the years to come. At UW-Madison, the ACLS Emerging Voices fellow will be one of the IRH’s fellowships devoted to Race, Ethnicity and Indigeneity.
