Michelle Karnes (Solmsen Fellow, 2025–2026) has been awarded the Medieval Academy of America’s Jerome Singerman Prize for her monograph Medieval Marvels and Fictions in the Latin West and Islamic World (University of Chicago Press, 2022). The prize is awarded annually for the Best Second Monograph in Medieval Studies and will be formally announced at the MAA Annual Meeting at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in March.
