Iseult Gillespie named a HEX Humanities Responder

Former IRH fellow Iseult Gillespie (Madeline Doran Dissertation Fellowship, 2021-2022) has been named a HEX Humanities Responder through the UW–Madison Center for the Humanities. Her project “Building the People’s Revolutionary Library,” with collaborators Thom Van Camp and local organization Black Umbrella, is a direct response to the organization’s call for educational material focused on racial justice, equity, and financial literacy. This project will help establish a library at Black Umbrella’s headquarters and document that process.
