Nandini Pandey and Laila Amine Awarded Berlin Prizes

IRH Race, Ethnicity, and Indigeneity Fellow Nandini Pandey (Department of Classical and Ancient Near Eastern Studies) and IRH Summer Humanities Research Fellow Laila Amine (Department of English) have both been awarded a Berlin Prize Fellowship for 2020-2021. The Berlin Prize (a semester-long residential fellowship awarded by the American Academy in Berlin) is presented annually to US-based scholars, writers, composers, and artists who represent the highest standards of excellence in their fields, from the humanities and social sciences to journalism, fiction, visual arts, and music composition.
