New book by Mitra Sharafi

Mitra Sharafi (Resident Fellow, 2016–2017) has a new book out with Cornell University Press: Fear of the False: Forensic Science and the Law of Crime in Colonial South Asia (April 2026). This book is based on research that Mitra conducted while a fellow at IRH. The ebook format is available open-access.
